I have two bikes and ride both almost every day. They are very different bikes though.

Gotta have two bikes in case one gets broken... At least that is how I've rationalized it for the past ten years. I always tell my wife if I only have one and it breaks I'll have to ride her softail and she don't want that.

My wife hates it when I bring another bike (a third) home so to maintain marital bliss I always sell the third bike after a couple of months.

I love many bikes and WANT all of them. At one time I had 3 bikes. An '05 Deluxe, an '04 Moto Guzzi V11 Ballabio, and a '91 Honda Hawk GT. All great bikes! But at heart I know I am happiest with just one bike to ride and keep up with. This is killing me as I currently am in love with the new 72, but do not want to part with my Fatbob...killing me!

I have a 2012 wide glide and a 1998 road king right now. Love them both but they're two different bikes. After I bought the road king I found myself not riding the wide glide as much as I should have. The road king is super comfortable compared to the wide glide even though its 14 years older. I love getting into the throttle of the 103 after riding an 80ci for a while. The road king gets ridden through all the weather while the wide glide stays shinny and nice. I've really been thinking of selling the road king when I get back for a fxd or fxr... maybe even a sportser if I can find one for the right price. Then again I may keep it for long rides and everyday riding and use the wide glide for my fun weekend bike. Plus the wife likes the rk better than the wide glide.

Let's see...you love riding the RK every day no matter the weather, your wife prefers it over your WG - which is gathering dust...sounds like you're thinking of selling the wrong bike. Sometimes the prettiest girl at the dance isn't the right one. No bike is better than a bike you love to ride all the time.

Well at least they are both paid off, so I have time to think about it. I tend to be impulsive. If I bring that triumph to a Cross-Country I might bring home a different bike or can-am or somethng. I think my Harley dealer is only interested in Harleys for trade-in so that is a safe place to shop.

I had 2 bikes for a long time and it was great, but I did ride more back then then I do now. I had the 2007 XL50 that I have now and a 2008 Kaw Z1000, traded the Z1000 for a 2008 1200C that was more of a 2-up sporty than the XL50. I might have 2 bikes again here soon as my buddy want to trade me his nice 2006 Suzuki C50 for my project 92 Camaro RS. If I get the bike I'm going to make is fenderless before I even ride it. Right now I have an 87 Trans Am and a 92 Camaro-same but differant. I say if you have the money then get the toys.
