Default Load Road King off center in truck bed ok?

I am hauling my RKC to NC on a family trip which takes about 9-10 hrs. Trust me, I would ride it there from PA but its not an option with 3 kids. I may be able to unload about 1/2 way down and ride the rest.

So my question is about loading it in its wheel chock about 8-10" off center to make more storage room on one side. I mounted a HF wheel chock to an old vintage piece of oak that is 13.1/4" wide by 1 1/8 thick and it runs almost to end of the tail gate to spread the weight on the tail gate avoiding any more denting.

Will the off center weight drastically or mildly tilt the truck to one side effecting ride, stability or tires? I figure the weight of the gear, ramps, luggage etc might offset it pretty well? Do I need to load the bike down the center? Plus I weight a good 80lbs more than the wife in the right seat?

Maybe this is a stupid question....anyone tried this?

don't worry about it. My camper is several hundred lbs heavier on one side than the other with no problems and though I have a real truck (JK!), the premis is the same.

Just remember your hauling your bike and the weight may be off centered. Tie it down good. If it was me I would also make sure that anything else it shares the bed of the truck with can't rub on it to damage a finish. I would also forget about the ride in. Load it once--unload it when you get there.
