Nice trucks; never owned one, but wouldn't mind driving one. Let's look at the comparison of Platinum and Limited vs. HD trims. The two former models have a high $ trim package as well (I know one is 12, the others are 13, but nevertheless, 3k ish difference?). Wonder if it was the lack of HD appeal to the general public that caused the decision to discontinue them.
I always like the HD f150's but wasn't too crazy about the latest edition. I don't care for the large swooping graphic on the side. I'm not surprised they are discontinuing them now. They are really pricey. Nowadays though it seems like all trucks are ridiculously expensive. The HD edition might come back some day, might not. You could always trick one out with stickers I guess.
