They are really nice trucks with all the chrome badges and thick dark leather. I'm not surprised they are discontinuing
I would be surprised if they never do another run. It's such a niche for such a high price.

I've owned 4 F150's all Harley Davidson models. Ok, to be honest, they were all F150s with a HD sticker I put on the bumper or rear window.

Nice trucks; never owned one, but wouldn't mind driving one. Let's look at the comparison of Platinum and Limited vs. HD trims. The two former models have a high $ trim package as well (I know one is 12, the others are 13, but nevertheless, 3k ish difference?). Wonder if it was the lack of HD appeal to the general public that caused the decision to discontinue them.

I always like the HD f150's but wasn't too crazy about the latest edition. I don't care for the large swooping graphic on the side. I'm not surprised they are discontinuing them now. They are really pricey. Nowadays though it seems like all trucks are ridiculously expensive. The HD edition might come back some day, might not. You could always trick one out with stickers I guess. Have fun, ride safe.

the first gens with the slightly detuned Lightening motor in them with the S/C were great models

kind of got you a 4 door lightening

and all that went along with the trim level of nice black leather and graphics package

but now all they are is a badged truck, nothing much more than that

I have a FX4 and a HD, which cost about as much as a single HD F150.

Well the article said the HD edition only counted for 1%-2% of their truck sales, so yes, the lack of appeal is probably what did it in.
