Hi All, Getting another helmet this week. Want a 3/4 and from what I can research, Shoei has about the best thing going. Giving up my Harley Jet II to the wife. This is a new model this year for Shoei, anyone have one? Thanks.
That's the one that I will be buying. I had the old version, and I think the new one is better. I am hoping for a sale locally in the next 3 or 4 weeks, if not I will get one from out of town. It comes in some pretty good colors if you want something other than black: two shades of grey andanthracite, plus some others I am not interested in.
I have the RJ-Air which I believe is the previous generation of this helmet. I've always liked Shoei helmets and think they're excellent quality. Another nice thing about Shoei's is that they don't clear coat over the stickers so you can take them all off.
I bought that helmet about 3 months ago and absolutely love it. The liner material is so soft and comfortable. Excellent ventilation and easy to mount headsets in if so desired.

Thestickers on my old RJ-Air were easy to remove. The new -R has decals that are alot harder to remove. It's a pain, and takes alot longer than removing stickers, but it can be done. I second the motion on flags.
Got the helmet this past Tuesday, I love it! Of courseI kind of expected it to be all I've read, compaired to some of the garbage out there it's pretty pricey, but worth it in my book. Dave
