How many miles are the stock shocks good for? I just bought a 98 Road King with 38 k on the clock.

Depends how much weight they had to lug and what kind of roads the weight was lugged on.

Had my Dyna for 5 years and my shocks are already shot. Hopefully, if the funds are there, she's getting a complete overhaul this winter.

I'll have to get back to you. 96,000 on my EG air shocks. Replaced a line once that got pinched in the saddlebag lid. Two-up, fully-loaded, motocrossed on every kind of path that passes for a legal road, and sometimes no road. Every kind of weather. Still performing well.
