Ordered HD Service Manual
Great commercial, Babs. I gotta wonder sometimes just how many don't get done right cause the people will never know?
Consider it might take 2 hours to do it right, verses 45 minutes to cut corners, and they know where they think they can cut them.. Especially for stuff like just regular 5000 miles.
The thing that keeps the bike running is the fluid change.. whether it was fully drained or not and whether the cables were lubed or not or clutch adjusted, etc. That's all a warranty or paid service item later, right?
So in cutting a corner here or there, that amounts to quite a few more service hours they can charge per man-hour when there are paying customer bikes stacked up waiting for chrome goodies, engine kits, tires, or the dredded dripping evo that needs troubleshot.
Probably a good thing I'm not a dealership owner (well.. not such a good thing)
I'd be raking it in.

Now, if there's nothing out there to work on, or they didn't know we'd spend the moolah on these cash cows to keep 'em running, it's a different environment entirely, I'd say.
Thanks for sowing the seeds of doubt, Babs.
