Service Manuals

i'm trying to save $ and do some mods myself and would like to get some opinions on which is the best choice in service manuals.... a Clymer Manual or the HD Service Manual?

Go for the HD manual, it's clearer and more detailed, a better value for the $$$

I went with the HD manual. It's easy to read. With the manual, the help you get here and some of the links thru this site you should be able to rebuild your bike. It has helped me out a ton.

If you're really feeling flush, you could pick up a parts manual also, they show you exploded views of things with part numbers so when you go to the parts counter ,you know if they are ordering the right part. A handy tool.
