HELP vibration

my 2008 roadglide has ungodly vibration when running expecially at idle shakes the whole fairing and headlights look like they are gonna shake till they break any ideas?????

I'd start by checking the motor mounts and anchor points.

I had a vibration from a heat shield hose clamp that rested against a part of the frame. Took forever to find the problem, but I did!

Does yours vibrate worse at 1800-2000 RPM?

My 08 SG has/had the type of vibration you're talking about. At idle, I couldn't even see through my rear view mirrors. I replaced the stock front motor mount with a glide-pro and the difference was HUGE. Still vibrates at idle, but not nearly as bad. I thought about replacing the rest of the system because they say it will quiet it down completely. However, since it only does it at idle AND IMO, it looks kinda bad-*** at a stop light, I'm leaving it the way it is.

BTW, the Glide-Pro guy is great to work with. He snswers any/all questions you have by phone and has nice videos on the site showing how to do the installation. It makes it very easy.

I've found that vibration at idle is worse if you're on the bike and holding the front brake. Letting the wheel bounce normally takes away a lot of it.
