A Twin Cam 88?
WHy in the world would anyone want to mess with it?
Not enough power?
What in the world are yiou hauling that you need extreme builds?
I just dont understand.
88 cubes has got plenty of power.

Why does Harley sell some of the stuff they do?
Because we will buy it!!!
And yes the other manuf. make larger motors but its obvious in their resale prices that doesn't make a difference.
If everyone just wanted to ride and not upgrade Harley would only sell one type of bike..

just a simple 95 kit with 203 cams and 44MM CV carb makes a nice interstate bike, run all day at 3,000RPM at 75-80 MPH but then I was always into fast women and fast bikes. and with my age and looks it has to be the fast bikes now[sm=icon_rofl.gif][sm=icon_rofl.gif]

Don't you know??? It's not about is 88 inches enough, sure it is. But we are guys that always have an addiction; some of us have more money and time than sense. Some don't have eitherbut pour ourselves into whatever addiction we have going on now. Some of us just can't set still or don't want to.
Like the others above have said why have 11-second diesel trucks that are our daily drivers and have never pulled a trailer? Why buy aPorsche over a Chrysler300? Why buy a .357instead of a .38?
I mean this could go onforever, we all wantto be different and peeeeeee the furthest...........just because we can.........not because we"Need Too".

Mikee: I agree with you. The stock motor is good enough for what we buy the bikes for: touring. But I did feel the SE Aircleaner upgrade sort of added a bit of frosting on the cake. I only did that, leaving the exhaust stock. I run the HD download too. Works for me. But then, I'm not into high performance either. I drive a Hyundai Santa Fe which would probably wax the Ultra 0-60, but that wasn't by design. Just love purring down the highway or back roads, listening to tunes, comfortable in most weather, piling up the miles.[8D]
