So I have been kicking around the idea of having (01 wide glide) some parts on the bike powder coated...like the battery cover, pipes, lower forks, and rims powder coated. I guess I am just tired of looking at the bike the way it is and want to start doing my mods...
I did debate buying a newer ride, but then figured I would just end up spending more $$$$ anyhow. So why not just start changing the current bike as i want and spend the money there. Not really asking anything i suppose...maybe I am. What would you guys do?
Battery cover about 35 bucks.
Lowers, maybe $125.
Rims, probably $100 a piece, depending on what-all you're doing.
You can powder heat shields, but I don't know how well the powder would hold directly on pipes. The Powder Pro is a sponsor. His user name: JRK5892 He can answer any questions, I'm sure. Be sure to show us some before and after pics.
