My mount was inspired by Warg. I added a third bolt like Burritto. And I used one plate on the back side of the bag like John C.
Three 5/16" couplings from Home Depot, fastened with button head bolts in original belt guard holes. Coupling hardware $8.

Manila folder template for hole placement.

Pattern cut from 12" X 12" piece of 16 gauge steel from Home Depot, 1/4" holes for fastening the bag to the plate. A 2" bracket cut from a 12" length of pre-drilled mending plate from Home Depot. Plate and bracket $13.

Close-up of the bottom of the bag showing the bracket mounted to the lowest coupling. This raised the bag about 2 inches higher than if I had mounted to the plate alone.

After everything was aligned to ensure fit, I disassembled to primer and paint the plate and bracket.

Re-assembled painted plate and bracket onto back of the bag.

Before installing the bag onto the swing arm, blue Loctite was used on the coupling bolts to keep from vibrating loose.

Lock washers inside the bag, instead of Loctite, to keep the bag bolts tight, but allow me to remove the bag from the couplings quickly for cleaning and maintenance.

The finished product. Rigid mount total cost $31. Leather works bag 312L $160.
