i know the line was cut. i got a piece of hose to replace it, used a pair of lineman pliers i had laying on the tool box to cut it to size. it has an identical cut marks as the cut hose has. the cutter is a little too small to make the cut, you cut most of it, then cut again to finish it off, it leaves a little pinched spot on one side of the hose.

the bike is loud, i told my wife i wanted to put some kind of muffler/baffles on the bike, she had a fit and told me i better not touch it. im sure that isn't the problem, the bike is barley ever ridden.i have have ridden it around the block 2-3 times this year and that's about it.
my broinlaw is jealous and wants tho buy the sporty because he knows my wife really doesn't ride it very often, but he would never mess with it,he just isn't like that. my cousin wouldn't mess with anything,he probably wouldn't even know how to use the pliers.
i dont roar through the neighborhood. the sporty is not even ridden very much, my EG has factory CVO mufflers on it, it is pretty quiet, and i try to be considerate.. i don't even know anyone around here. i have spoke to the elderly neighbors next door once or twice, never even spoke to the old guy behind me. if someone i knew had a problem with me, everyone i know is at least 30 miles away. wife's only acquaintances are the people she works with and her family, and they really are never around here.

my stepson has a key (same as the house) but he could care less about the bikes boat, and jeep,or stuff in that garage, the only time he goes in there is when he is looking for a broom to sweep the back porch off to skateboard. my wife has a key, but she doesn't even have a house key to get in, she just uses the door opener for the other garage to go inside the house.

that really just leaves my friend i was doing the free brake job for.. he has an inoperable brain tumor (basically dieing) so he has bad headaches all the time. he tells me he hates loud harleys all the time because they make his head feel like it is going to explode when asshats ride by revving the hell out of their bikes. he has never seen my bikes running, and he doesn't live anywhere near me to ever hear the bike running. he knows my bike has mufflers on it, and hers just sits there unridden. what would he benefit from cutting the hose?

at first i didn't think much of it, it is a cheap repair. but im really starting to get pissed off about this deal. i don't want to have to go accusing my family and friends, but i cant afford to have people like that around my house. if they cut the fuel line in my boat, it could be an explosion when i tried to start it.

Maybe it was Keyser Soze? I mean, it's definitely sabotage - no ifs ands or buts. I can't think of a way you'll find out who the culprit was. Maybe ask each one individually if they saw anyone else around or something, and see how they react?

Until you sort this out, you might want to inspect your bikes before each ride.

The incident reminds of this phrase... I love humanity. It's people I don't like.

I make a living with Sidecutters and it doesnt look like that was cut with a pair. Normally the pinched part is right in the center.

Maybe someone needed some gas for something. I see my neighbors kid putting gas for the lawnmower in his car all the time. My neighbor probably thinks his mower gets terrible gas mileage. LOL
