Wife and I rode our Low Rider to Key West and back. Loaded with hard bags and T-Bag on the back. No problem.

BUT, not a lot of passenger room, which is why I have the Road Glide now.

Mine was fine for short to medium rides. Look in my garage, my prior bike was a'n 06 Dyna that was a Street Bob model but customized to look like an older SuperGlide style.

Had the factory 2-up seat with sissybar. Stock rear pillon was the reason it was only good for short to medium length rides....she got antsy on the back after about an hour to would require a rest stop. If you want to do more longer rides I'd suggest a Mustang Wide Touring seat setup...she'll enjoy much more.

Had highway pegs for myself.
I'm 6'5" and 215 lbs, wife around 5'8" and 140.

Going over some bigger bumps at speed...sometimes rear shocks would bottom out. Mine were just stock.

Riding 2 up on a Superglide is no problem. Did that for few years and loved it. You will want to upgrade the seat to something more comfortable, especially for your passenger (I had the Sundowner seat which was great). Upgrading shocks would also be preferable - make sure to make adjustments when going from single to 2 up. I had detachable saddle bags which went on/off in seconds and no problems.

The ride on the Superglide is slightly tighter but also slightly less comfortable. I moved up to the Road King. Both bikes give you options in looks and both have plenty of power. Good luck - I'm sure you'll love it.

Mustang Wide Touring Seat/Pillion and a decent sissy bar backrest pad make the difference. 2-up on a Dyna is no issue, unless you're on the bigger side of the spectrum or you're doing longer rides.

Here's mine set up for 2-up.

I owned a Road King Custom and now own a New Super Glide Custom. As others have said if you are going to do serious two up riding get a Sundowner seat or equivalent and a back rest for your honey. As for the difference in ride I would say the larger front end and front tire makes the Road King more inherently stable at highway speeds. Unless you are in a corner the bike steers itself. The Dyna requires you to hold on and point it where you want it. I am a pilot and enjoy flying by hand, not auto pilot. The dyna reminds me of flying an airplane. It rewards smoothness. And when you are riding solo there is NO comparison. The dyna is just a blast to ride all the time.
