Went out for a ride today and while riding through town my engine would shudder roughly twice a second for about 15 seconds. The engine ran and sounded normal except for this shudder (ie no spluttering/backfiring). It rode fine for an hour, then while riding it up a mountain pass it started doing it again. The motor wasn't laboring, it seemed to be running normal but with this random shudder as well. Any ideas? All suggestions welcome

Time to tighten some bolts? Maybe the front engine mount? The compensator nut? Maybe it is just shuddering at a very particular rpm and something loose somewhere is transmitting it's vibration elsewhere?
You said anyone! Somemone else will make better suggestions, the delay is probably due to time-zone.
Sorry for the late reply, between work and death in the family I haven't had the time to get back to this.
nolabel - none of those. Also it's not any particular RPM, it did it in gears 2-4 at any speed. Thanks though
nevil - I'm hoping its bad fuel too. Haven't had time to go to shops to buy seafoam or similar. Also haven't checked plugs but it didn't feel like plugs. The engine was running fine (ish) lol
RHPAW - I'm constantly changing my diet...between McDonalds and KFC
Spelk3 - Just short of 20,000 miles. My first thoughts were fuel related too
dgdamore - it's hard to describe. It's like the engine is running fine, and this vibration is as well as the normal engine vibration. It's almost like the hand grips and floor boards are made out of vibrators set to low "VPM" (vibrations per minute). Engine is going along fine, no drop in power, both cylinders firing fine, but this rough vibration 2 times a second for a few minutes in any gear and speed
davidearlcox - The big question is, do I need to remap the computer?
