Just got a set for my roadglide, hoping to install them this week. Hope they don't come out with this new one now. Had a Daymaker on my dyna 2 years ago, big difference.

Wow! I just got the "old" model about 10-12 days ago. Had I known, I'd have gotten the "new and improved" one. Oh well.
I bought mine from Surdyke.com at $346 + free shipping. The new version is the same price everywhere....
I called my local dealership and they basically fed me a line of BS that they would only accept a return/exchange if it was purchased from them. I'm in the process of trying to work something out with a friend of a friend who works in the parts department at the local shop...
Surdyke.com is willing to accept mine as a return, issue me a refund in the form of a gift card which I can use to buy the new one. But shipping back to them is my cost as is shipping for the new order since they're not running a free shipping offer right now...
My stock 2009, Dyna Lowrider, halogen does a better job of lighting when cornering at low speeds. It is true on the straight aways the Daymaker is closer to color correct and puts the light out there another 50 feet further than the halogen. Is there a safety recall on the obsolete 5 3/4 inch Daymaker? We deserve the improved version! Are the rest of you with me on this?
