Harley jackets are really Gerbings. Gerbings is the best heated gear IMHO.

You should be able to get the Gerbings cheaper, check prices before you buy.

Either way, heated gear is the way to go to extend the riding season.

I'm interested in a heated jacket liner. How thick are they? Are they bulky?

They are not thick, just like any other liner I've in past jackets.

Default Heated Gear

I actually wear less layers with a heated jacket liner than with no heated gear. Gerbings (makers of Harley heated gear) recommends a light thin shirt under the jacket liner and a windproof jacket on top. That allows the heat from the liner to get to your core faster than with thick clothing. You will feel it on your chest, back, arms, and neck. It's the best thing ever invented for cold weather riding period.

I just put the heads with the Cats still in them back on in the winter and run a dryer house up to my jacket. More heat than you can ever need...
