both look nice.. ..I wouldn't let the sissy bar break the deal.. just remove it if you don't want it. I myself felt the softtails fit me better but that was me. there wont be a wrong answer... test ride and have some fun... decide on how it fits you.. Are you looking at these models for the narrower front tire?? pipes on other models should be easy to find.. apes less so.
Do a search on it and you'll come up with a bunch of stuff. I don't own an '06, so I'm by no means an expert on it. Inner Primary Bearings and Stators seem to be common problems, but its only on '06 Dynas apparently.
Almost bought from Dream Machines...ended up getting a better deal on a bike with sligtly higher miles from an HD dealer. Glad I didn't go with dream machines after hearing some stories about them on forums
