Debating between two bikes...thoughts?

Default Debating between two bikes...thoughts?
Alright, folks. I'm about to put money down on my first HD and am just having a super hard time choosing between these two, as I like both for different reasons.

Yes, it's that dead horse...a dyna and a softail.

I'll take both on test rides in a few days, which should help a ton.



Which would you pick, and why? Just hoping to get some other opinions.


The Softail (Springer)






or


The Dyna (Wide Glide)









They're both 2006
They both have what I want (aftermarket pipes, apes, forwards)
They're both low miles (under 15k)
The WG is slightly more expensive (lower miles)



Just looking for opinions and thoughts on these specific setups. I haven't ridden many big twins before, so I'm a clean slate.

If you are buying the bike to look at it, go for the Softail.

If you are buying the bike to ride it, go for the Dyna

softtail - don't like the sissy bar or solid rear wheel, & the pipes look too long

the rake on the wide glide has a nice look

im a softail guy most of the time but i like the dyna better

Keep looking private party...I personally don't care for dream machines. I was going to buy a bike from them but ended up not even gong there after dealing with a few people there including the finance mgr. Just my opinion....

Those are both really cool bikes. I love the looks of a Softail Springer, but I'd have to go with the Wide Glide.
However...'06 Dynas are known to have some issues, not sure if '06 Softails have the same problems.

Good looking bikes. Good luck on your choice. I'd probably go with the Softail.

X2. My parents were going to do business with dream machines but they tried to screw my parents big time. My parents ended up going somewhere else.

As far as the bikes go, looks wise I like the dyna more.

Any more info on this weird 06 Dyna problem?
