I have a 80 inch 1986 and a 96 inch Rocker C. Stock engines on both.
For me, not worth it in the least.

Spend your money wisely, don't waste it on adding another 6.1 cubic inches. Get a top of the line 2 into 1 exhaust like those offered from RB Racing. You didn't say if you're running a carb or FI. If carb get a good one. Get a good air cleaner that breaths well.

If your bike is all electronic controlled then you should keep your bike in closed loop, tuned in closed loop and monitored with O2 displays in closed loop. For a street bike I would not waste time with a dyno tune, unless you like seeing numbers. Find an independent tuner, a guy who knows his stuff and doesn't worry about numbers but more about performance. There is a hell of a lot to getting your engine to perform correctly then just throwing a few parts on it. Do a lot of research and read a lot of what is found on the RB Racing website, those guys know there chit...

Boars can be nasty critters but predominantly inhabit the south. A big bore on the other hand may net you a few more giggles when you twist the throttle. I plan to flip the bill on my TC88 to a 95" so that is my 2 cents. Not worth much....

There's a saying: "There's no replacement for displacement" and there's a very good reason for it.
That said, any significant power increases will be had by using a combination of improvements where the result is actually greater than the sum of the parts. To get the most from your engine, and to do so reliably at a reasonable cost the formula will be: Displacement + Compression Ratio + Camshafts + Exhaust + Breathing.

Speaking for myself!!! Tried that route a couple of times never made me happy and cost way too much money for what you get. Went from 93" to 124" that was a time to remember for sure. Since then have to increase at least 20 cubes or it is a waste of money for this cat.

It's absolutely worth it.

Talk to some people that have run it. 85 hp and 95 ft lbs torque ( as much as a 110" Stage I nowadays,) with just a big bore, Andrews 26 and 2 into 1 exhaust (or almost 25% more than a stock 88".) And that's with stock heads.

Biggest bang for the buck easily.

I did it and I'm very glad I did. Outside of a good cam, it gave me the biggest improvement in performance. Better than the jump I got from pipes and intake that's for sure. The jump from 88 to 95 was well worth it and I'd do it again in a heart beat. Of course I did the big bore. I have no idea how a big boar would do but I hear they run wild! I also think a dyno tune is well worth it to. Those that think some guy with a good ear can tune a bike as well as a guy with a dyno are misinformed.
