RIDE IT and pay attention to your bike. How it feels, how it responds, how it sounds and the road conditions that are playing a part in all of that. After 1,000 miles of seat time, you have a good idea of all of that, though things will change.
As was stated above, if it runs strong and handles well, then RIDE it. If you hear something that you didn't hear before, don't panic, just note it in your head and see if it gets worse or goes away.
