I think I will do that, I still reccommend the jack, once up its like a rock. I took a couple of photos of the pedal, going to send an e mail to them explaining the issue.
Let me know what they say if you would. Just got my jack and love it......except for the uneven pedal and it slipping out of the groove.
I have a table lift, Pitbull, J&S, and the red Craftsman in my garage.
The table lift I use on rebuilds and such when the bike will be on the lift for an extended time.
Far as the jack style goes the J&S rules it is the most stable doesn't matter what bike is on it bagger, chopper, metric it is the most stable the other two I just mainly use for storage so I can move the bikes around without hassle.
I wonder why they discontinued the jack. Looks good to me. Almost half the price of J&S. I'll stick with my $89.00 craftsman for now. It works and it works well when needed.
Even before watching the above posted video, I am sold on the J&S unit.. I currently have an off brand and have been shopping around for new.. I saw the J& S posted on Fuel Moto web site as a unit that they use.. these guys are working bikes all day long.. That in itself is a serious recommendation in my book.
