Drag Specialties no drilling, they may have others, i works fine, I would say anything that avoids drilling into an OEM part is superior, this is not a structural item and you have the freedom to readjust the positioning if you change shoes or boots later. Plus there's no " nut" to vibrate loose, but it is ugly if you care. No one's gonna see it unless you're parked.
Keep something in mind any product that does not bolt down securely with a through bolt IS going to work itself loose eventually it's just the basic nature of our bikes , they have been puking the odd parts for as long as they have been being built .

Certainly however in the case of the Drag Specialties extender, should the screw work loose, gravity will cause it to seat further onto the stand, not fall off.

In theory maybe , I've been fixing broken and shaken off stuff on these bikes too many years to believe it won't happen . Can't tell you how much shiney bike related stuff I've seen on the roads over the years that have fallen off somebodies bike that wasn't supposed to .
PS gravity is great till the next bump or pothole ....................
I have the HD stand extender on my Dyna. Bolts on with no drilling with a locking nut. It's been secure and never worked lose or moved. It serves it's purpose well.
HarleyScuba, yes, it is for the Tour Glide in sig. Still working on getting things changed so I can ride it this spring. Trying to keep things as "original" as possible.
