I could only imagine how dangerous it would be if the front or rear tyres blow up when you are on a highway doing speed of up to or over 60 mph?

Hit a raccoon in June at over 60. Blew the valve stem clear out of the rim. Rode 3 miles before I noticed it was flat. Glad I changed out the 21" spoked rim for a solid billet rim.

lucky you didn't get hurt .. i was just wondering if i blew my tyre doing high speed will it be deadly but i guess it's not that bad then.

Yes i dont like my skinny rim either i think i'm going to get a fatter rim for my ride.

It's still a 21", just a solid billet wheel. I think the spoked would have been bent at that speed and the size of the critter. I was lucky I was going in a straight line, and hit him pretty square. Had it happened in a curve would not have been pretty.

No but have had more than my fair share of flats and that is why I will never again have a new tire put on the bike without adding Ride On.

I had a front tube disintegrate at 85 MPH. It was really not as bad as you might think. The worst part was as I slowed it got a bit squirrelly. Probably around 40 MPH and below as best I remember.
