If you must have a cover, a fleece lining would be suggested.

Somewhere online I saw a 2 piece system.
A soft fleece liner, with a waterproof cover.

Invest in a enclosed, plus more room to store outside of the motor home.

Years ago, I met the girl of my dreams, packed up everything I owned in an open trailer, put a cover on my bike and moved to Idaho to be with her. About 20 miles in, I stopped on the freeway to pull the tattered cover off the few chrome parts and doo-dads it was still wrapped around.

Several years later, she'd had enough of me... so I packed all my crap back in the open trailer and pulled out of Idaho... in January... in snow... and ice... and sanded roads.

A few weeks later, the tins were in the shop to be repainted.

Long story short... get an enclosed trailer.

In addition to NOT covering the bike on the trailer, do not...I repeat...DO NOT strap the bike down on the kickstand. Strap it straight up.

With a little ingenuity you can turn an open trailer into an enclosed one.

For what it's worth...

http://www.gatorhide.com/index.html

I use a Kendon to tow my trike about once a year. I will not put a cover on mine. Soap and water washes off the road crap when I get there.

Like the others stated. No cover. It will damage the bike. Make a rockguard and don't trust the flap behind the motorhome to stop all the crap.
