so there are a large number of us solo riders out there, and im sure i'm not alone in wanting something to cover up that ugly rear bolt hole in my fender. ive seen the spikes, dice, 8 *****, and skulls. im not crazy about any of them.
is there anywhere else i can find these types of studded ornaments? maybe some of you guys have made your own? i just ordered this stripper pole air freshener dashboard thing, figured i'd remove the base and thread or adapt the pole itself. if the stripper pole just wont work i also ordered a hula girl, i know i can easily remove the base and drill a hole through her feet/legs and insert a stud lol.
May not be for you...but in keeping with the Harley eagle theme....I took a small gold eagle off of a trophy that I had laying around, it has the same thread as the stock Harley screw. I screw it in so that the eagle is facing rearward. It's easy to install and remove by hand without tools. NO I'm not worried about someone stealing it or my seat. I never let the bike out of my sight! Many who have seen it like the idea and lots of guys have asked me where I got it. In fact I now have a bag full of them!
wow. i just use the little black plastic dot that pops in the hole. pretty unobtrusive. don't care for all those things sticking up on the rear fender.
