I'm still in search of The Perfect Glove for Me..........any suggestions?
I've got long fingers and thin hands...need something that fits.
Priced affordably is preferrable, but quality is more important to me.
I'm thinking something in black leather of course. With fitted fingers, maybe even ones with knuckle armor, as long as they can be worn comfortably in summer. Gauntlet style is cool. Whatever style, as long as they're protective, leather, and black. I'll end up painting skeletal bones on them in white reflective paint anyway...that's just the way I roll.
My local Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki/Kawasaki dealer has a great selection of gloves. You might want to try them. My wife has the sample fitment challenges you have, and she found a pair of Alpinestar gloves that fit her like ........ you get it.
So these are the thoughts that keep you up until 2:45 in the morning huh?
Hi Grrl, have you found the gloves yet??? There is a small indie shop here, that carries "Road Gear", the brand has many styles of gloves, and the prices are very reasonable....perhaps this may help on your quest...
I think some folks are unaware that the most comfortable, high qualitygloves are those with the stitching on the outside. I just bought a pair ofoutside-stitched deerskinsfrom Fox Creek Leathers. They run $44 and are ultra smooth on the inside.
Just got mine yesterday from Fox Creek. Very nice quality and the fit is good. They give you a size chart that's pretty darn accurate and can be very helpful on the phone as well. As someone else said, 44.00 bucks to the door in 3 days time.
You also mentioned protection. Ask an LEO friend to show you their catalogs from cop shops. Incredible gloves of every style and the kevlar is probably the best available. Protect those paws!
I feel your pain I have been looking for a pair of gloves of any style for my wife (passenger) she is only 4-10 finally found a pair of xxxs fingerless bought them and they fit good luck
