I have used all of it 91+ I try to get 93 when I can. My cousin said to try and get ethanol free. That's BS. For one thing I would have to drive 30 min there and then back 30 min to get that. My bike is a 2011 and if HD didn't upgrade parts to handle ethanol then I guess I might have issues. So far so good.
I prefer Chevron, but since there are no sations where I currently live, I use Exxon. I try not to use any no brand and don't particularly care for Fina/Alon.
The sticker on my front frame leg says to use premium, but all I've ever run is regular. Doesn't ping or anything. Still gets between 39-43 MPG, on the cheapest gas I can find, brand doesn't seem to matter to it.,,

A little off the subject but do gasoline companies always refine their own fuel, i.e., Shell only refines for Shell retailers, Chevron, Mobil, etc? or do the major refiners sell their product to any and all retailers?
I try to stick to top-tier fuel when possible. Chevron, Shell, and Quiktrip around here mostly. I would push my bike past an Arco station to buy gas elsewhere.
