I've wanted a silver metal flake 3/4 helmet for a while. Rockhard used to make one but they are no longer available. I tried on the bell 500 2013 helmet but it did not fit (Xxl). I was looking on eBay and found a Hong Kong manufacturer names MASEI. They make a silver Metalflake helmet that is bidding out for around $40 with free shipping. Has anyone here ever wore one of these from MASEI? Wondering if it is worth it. For $40 it may be worth the risk. What say you?
Have not a clue if any good or value but if it's the one with 18 bids good luck on your bid. Not sure of your Ebay expertise but if you want it, figure the maximum you will pay and throw it in 2 seconds before it closes.. And always bid to round up. If the spread is $00.50 and your max is 80. Bid 80.51 to beat another $80 bid. One thing to remember is a tie goes to the first bidder. So if two bids are the same at exactly the last 2 seconds, Ebay only breaks it down in seconds but the first one it reads is the winner. If they are off by more then a second, the last bidder gets a message back he has been outbid and enter a higher value then the spread. Never chase a bid up like 18 people are doing.

So I will pose the question again. Does anyone have this helmet and is it worthy? On their website it sells for around $100. Not looking to debate the worth of my head or the art of bidding on eBay.
Never heard of it and I really hate buying helmet you can't try on due to differences in fit from one manufacturer to another. I bought a biltwell Bonanza 3/4 green metal flake and IT IS DOT and its as lo-pro as I can find in DOT. If you can get it for cheap go for it but can you return it if it doesn't fit right?

I have never heard of the helmet you are talking about.
Have you considered a Fulmer V2? They make them in silver flake and, around here at least, many places stock this model of helmet. This helmet and the Bell fit very differently. So if the Bell didn't work for you, this one just might. http://www.fulmerhelmets.com/helmets/open-face/v2/#
I tried this on in a Xxl and it ripped my ears off. Like the options they offer, just didn't fit.
