Default Whats wrong with a 103

I have a 2011 Road King that was fitted with a Stage 1 kit pre picking bike up from dealer when brand new. It has never missed a beat, pulls like a schoolboy on steroids. Only time it has ever embarrassed me is the alarm going off at a service station due to all the interference from their tech stuff, had to push it 50 metres then all OK.
I was speaking to a mate in the States and he says that the 103 is rubbish and gives nothing but trouble???. Is this true?.
Just wondering

My 103 has been bullet proof. Stage 1 and it runs great, pulls like a a freight train off the line and cruises like its idling with plenty of power to go around someone if need be. Great power to weight ratio on my Ultra Classic considering bike, rider, passenger and weekend baggage has us pushing 1450+ pounds.

103 built from an original 96

30,000 total miles without any problems. 21,000 of these miles as a 103 . . . and that's with all of the other stuff listed in my signature as well.

28,000 trouble free miles on a stage ll 103,that was modified at 2,000 miles. In a '10 Road King, the sucker hauls ***,even with 2 up and a full load of gear. Love it.
