I am looking at buying a bike dryer for my RKC after years of using a leaf blower on my bikes. The Air Force Blaster and the Sidekick have some pretty impressive specs 18000 ft/min, 91m/s for the sidekick and 29250 ft/min, 148m/s for the blaster, this seems an awful lot of power.
Here in the UK I can only compare these dryers with Aeolus products (TD-901T) for dog grooming which are around the 11800 ft/min, 60 m/s.
I guess my question is; are the specs for the Metro products BS and are they worth the money (leaning towards the Sidekick because of its size and portability)?
Cheers in advance for any reviews of these dryers.
I had a sidekick a few years back, it sucks! I have to admit that it takes even longer to dry my bike compare to leaf blower. I end up selling it and use a dedicated leaf blower lol. I heard the bigger Airforce blower is good, haven't tried it though.
I have the air force blaster, works fantastic for drying the bike and all those nooks and crannies. Has two switches for power, 4 amps at a time so its like a two speed unit. I've had mine for years, and never any trouble

I've switched from a dedicated leaf blower to the blower that is part of my shop vac. With the extensions that came with it, it gets into every nook and cranny. Pop off the cone end for blowing off the most of the bike, put the cone on for detail work around the engine.
Wish you lived in US. I would sell you mine with a custom made wall hanger. Wife bought it for me and I've never used it. I just like sitting on my little wheeled stool and raggin it. Guess I'm odd.

I have the sidekick and am impressed with the power. Emits strong warm air and compact enough for those hard to get areas. I also use it for sweeping the garage floor & blowing leaves off the patio
