It looks "deliberate." Nothing gets to look that bad without giving out warning signs before it comes apart like that.

Thanks, never been a fan of the bubble butt crack rear fender but those pictures just flipped my laptop on the ground.

I have to ask if Ultima have a lot of QC issues, I do seem to have seen a lot of complaints about the motors.

OP: Down in the tech forums here is a forum called Engine/Fuel/Intake/Exhaust. There are a few guys who regularly post there who own reputable engine building shops. You might want to restart this thread there and see what they have to say.
