For those that have the Gerbing heated clothing. Did you run a direct hookup to the battery, plug into the cig lighter? etc... If you hook up the battery, how did you run the connection???

Wire direct to the battery. That way you could use the plug in to maintain the battery over the non riding season. Direct to the battery makes it so the ignition does not need to be on to work. The negative of that is you can suck the battery dry if you don't remember to unplug or turn off your heat.
I ran mine under the seat nytied to the frame rail then attached with more nyties to the passenger grab rail on the left side where the Gerbing gear has the clothing plug in. Tidy and simple away from the exhaust system.
