New bike won't start clicking selonoid
Checked battery 11.3 on my volt meter.
So how long should it take to charge up to 12 ish volts?
I tried battery tender jr got some life but won't turn over.
Put on 12v 2 amp car battery charger
How long should it take to charge up if it ever will?
Advice?
Thanks
Hap
I would pull the battery, bring it in where its warm, charge overnite, test in AM. Looks cold where you are and when batteries run low and get real cold, it can ruin them.
I'd charge it overnight and if it didn't start in the morning, maybe a bad or shorted out cell in the battery. What caused the battery to drain like that, you leave the lights on?
It was delivered yesterday with dead battery.
Delivery guy said he had it running to load it ?
So thought just put on tender jr and we would be good
Nope dead dead dead....it's in a heated garage
I have it on charger can leave over night worst can happen call dealer and get a new one?

So it was dead when they delivered it? There's a big thanks for your business. Have 'em pick it up and do it right.
Check your battery connections, a perfectly good battery will show the symptoms of a dead battery if just 1 connection is just a little bit loose...
all 4 connections...before checking the connection to the starter DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE CABLE from your battery to avoid any possible arcing...

A fully charged, engine off battery should show 12.6 volts.
Second day of ownership of a $35,000 Trike and the battery is dead? Make the dealer come to your home to replace the battery.
Dealer is 90 miles away.
I'm not trying to stick it anyone. Things happen they are a large dealer and have lots going on.
I trust they will make it right and I can help them out by doing some of hassle. There sales pitch before sale was they would take care of any troubles that made me unhappy. Well they get their chance to prove it tomorrow.
If you got a new bike delivered to your home you wouldn't want to start it? Not to mention its a lot easier to get it out the trailer and In the Garage with it running.
Really wanted to hear how loud it was or wasn't .
Delivery guy started it to load it in trailer same day.
But was real dead when it arrived.
I suspect battery wasn't charged since it was built on October 10th.
Been sitting and in a ware house for couple months...sat in trailer for 1/2 day in real cold temps...started and moved and that's about it. Only has 4 miles on it.
If they will give me new battery I'll go get it. But I wonder if this one froze with low or no charge.
I'll see what they say tomorrow. I have confidence they will replace it.
Thanks
