county road and bridge fee.\
one boat trailer.
county charges ten bucks per tag.(road use tax)..in addition to the state tag fee.
I can only drive one vehicle at a time .
If I just had one , my road use tax would be 10 bucks....(same usage)
But I pay 80 $ bucks to use the road..
Life just aint fair ....
OK rant over

In Michigan, we don't have "vehicle" or "wheel" taxes but we do have what I feel is high rates for "registration fees", which, depending on the value of your vehicle can be anywhere from $18 for motorcycles and up to a few hundred dollars for higher value cars and trucks.
In addition to the registration fees, we also have what is called a "catastrophic insurance fund" to cover those individuals who have severe, long, or lifetime injuries.
This fund not only covers those of us who pay into it, it also covers bicyclists, pedestrians, etc. who do NOT pay into the fund.
This annual fee, which is collected by the insurance company and it is basically the first $190 of your auto/motorcycle insurance policy and it is mandatory for EVERY licensed and insured motor vehicle you own.
We do however get a little break on our trailers with "lifetime" plates.
Lifetime plates are assigned to a trailer and they are good as long as the purchaser owns the trailer that they are issued to.
The "plate" CANNOT be transferred to another trailer, or another owner of the trailer that they have been assigned to.
Trailer license fees are based on the weight of the trailer.
Utility trailers, landscape trailers, and even one like I pull behind my bike is $75, lifetime fee.
An enclosed car hauler, snowmobile hauler, camping trailers, etc. is $200, lifetime fee.
