I'm still trying to get use to wearing it, I have a Joe Rocket mesh jacket. It fits great and worked well last summer when I took my 9 day road trip. It's just hard for me to wear a jacket when the weather gets hot.

This is my problem. I am not looking forward to additional layers of clothing in hot weather, but still want protection since I'm a new rider.

I appreciate all the suggestions, a lot of good ones.

I went for the Olympia Moab Jacket from RevZilla. It looks like it has all I want, plus it was at closeout price.

Look at Olympia or Tourmaster mesh jackets with zip out liners. People look at me funny when I have the yellow/black jacket on and riding a Harley, but they see me coming and it offers protection for arms, shoulder, back.
Wife and I are both happy with ours...from Revzilla on closeout!

Just remember when wearing Mesh jacket, that hot air is hitting your exposed skin underneath, if not wearing longsleeve tshirt. So, wear sunscreen and stay hydrated.

BMW's AirFlow jackets are terrific. Not cheap, but as cool as anything I've ever been able to find and they last forever.

It's been a couple years since I been lightweight jacket shopping so there will be newer products out there.

I think this one (Airwave) flows the most air and you can get it in all black.

My second choice would be the Olympia Switchback. It's more casual looking but gets a lesser amount of airflow as the Airwave.
