Now that I'm retired I'm planning on doing some road time. Not a big fan of touring bikes, but can see that a street glide would be practical. Been looking for a while:
2014 - $21.5K new
2012 - $18K, 3600 miles
Pros? Cons?
Radio doesn't excite me at all, so info center doesn't matter.
2014 has 2 years of warranty that 2012 doesn't have.
2012 is at Honda dealer, and I have Honda for trade, so might be better deal than at HD.
Get the blue one. Wait, go with the red one. Personally if money isn't a major part of the decision it's nice to know if you breakdown it isn't going to cost you anything for the next two years--regardless of miles. If you're going to be doing the touring thing that's always nice to have.
who would want a harley that was traded in at a honda dealer? the guy was obviously ******* the hell out of the harley and could not stand how it was such a dog. he traded up to a honda. that harley has been rode hard and put up wet many times--buy a new harley...if you must have a harley!
