Such a small change makes such a huge difference!
When I bought my bike last year I liked everything about it except for the accent colors in the paint job. Last night I picked up $6 worth of black pin striping and covered the blue and purple paint.
It made such a huge difference!!

Yeah I wanted to see how it would look first. I'll have to have a painter look at it, I'm not sure if it can be striped then cleared or if he would have sand down the clear first.

Huge improvement, it makes the detail inside the pinstriping stand out instead of detracting from it. Nice bike (or will be once you finish the pinstriping).

All done with the pin striping. I'll probably look into having it painted black next winter.

Good call, that looks great in black. It's a huge improvement. The standard procedure on painting the black on would be to sand all the clear, then paint the black pin stripes & re-clear everything. In do so, nobody would ever know the paint job was modified.
