I am admitting to visiting the local dealer today for the monthly swap meet and free barbecue and band. That much is true.
Now, the astonishing part is they had a sale table and here is what I purchased.
SOA dot half helmet. $90. Marked down to $10
Harley boots with zippers. $180. Marked down to $20
Harley black leather belt. $50. Marked down to $10
2 long sleeve T's. $40 ea. marked down to $10 ea
Harley Rain suit. $140. Marked down to $20
The SOA helmet isn't for me. When visitors come to town to rent a bike or
Having them on as a passenger. Please recognize I'm classier than that
I couldn't pass up these deals. For once I left the dealer and feel like I stole something.
Have any of you had a similar experience where Harley had such a killer deal
You couldn't pass it up?
I was in Waco last week getting my bars on and finally found a flannel shirt my size and marked down from $80 to $25. Very soft, warm and with Willie G logo on the upper back.

Oh no! The Willie G logo? Now if you actually wear it, someone from here will think your a poser, RUB, weekend warrior, or a HD billboard giving the MOCO free advertising. You better get rid of it or start using it for a rag.
Nope. Got a text message from my local dealer this morning with "up to 70% off boots today only". Went there and they had a pitiful few pair of boots on clearance. And the only ones I was interested in were the Huston harness boots. $180 marked down to only $130 and they didn't even have my size.
I think if they're going to do this type of advertising, they shouldn't just include the few things they can't get rid of normally.
My dealer's "clearance" rack is pitiful....I don't see a $65 shirt at $54 a clearance...that's just on sale. I think most people see the word clearance and bite.
I recently bought a Torc Carbon helmet for 66.50 from the local stealership and i have to admit other than the bike it may be the best thing i ever buy from there.

when the dealer close to where I used to live had their Clearance sale. it was mostly small and medium men's shirts and a bunch of random "junk" that no one would probably buy anyways.
Did get a kids helmet for $25 but the rest of it was passed over pretty quick.
Bought zipper sided boots from Smoky Mountain Harley in Maryville TN in January reg $150 for $60 and a Half Helmet from Chunky River for $60 which was marked down from $110. The boots were the best deal I've picked up other than a free Screaming Eagle Rain Sock for my Heavy Breather. They had it left over after installing a SE HB with a Cone cover for a customer.
