I know this is kind of a long shot, but if there's anybody in the Atlanta area who's heading out to HD Atlanta on Saturday and would be willing to give me a ride, I'd be very grateful! I had to leave my 08 Ultra at the shop for a transmission overhaul and now I need a way to get back out there and ride it home.
Will buy you lunch or a six-pack if you can help!

re-post but change your topic message: ATLANTA area bikers; i need some help...
something like that. I would also place it on craigslist in the motorcycle section in Atlanta; FOR SALE; 1 cold six-pack... then explain.. be sure to include: what, when, where, and why..

I've had my dealer bring me home before, but I'm pretty close. If it's a cash job, most dealers offer bike pickup over $x.00. If you're paying for an overhaul, that's a big ticket, and would think they could help out somehow. If warranty, not so much leverage.
I also use a taxi. I don't feel like I owe any one a favor.

I would if I had a passenger seat. But really, I have such a jammed weekend I'm not sure if I will even get much of a chance to ride. Call the dealer, they might deliver it.
