15% off of insurance [&:], I was never even asked that, I might call my agent and pose that question.

I use mine all the time, even if it's my own garage. We travel a lot, and any deterant is a good one. Mine is mostly audio so, if someone even tries to stand it up or sits on it, the alarm will go off. Having said that, if they really, really wanted to take it, I don't think there's anything you can do to stop it. The ring of thieves that are out there, will figure out a way to take it...alarm or no alarm. Realistically speaking...If it gets stolen, I have insurance for that...it would just ruin my trip...a now that would make me cranky!

We couldn't get insurance on my husbands Deuce (Aniversary edition) if it didn't have an alarm. They just flat out wouldn't provide coverage.

I just think it's a good idea. If you lock your car doors or your house door...why not your bike?

All depends on where ya go, and where ya park. If the bike goes from the garage to a bike night 2 times a week, go for it. We tend to travel al lot and the scoots spend the night in motel parking lots. We added the audible alarms, and a big 'f-ing' chain.

call me paranoid if you want but, if i'm not on my bike, the security system is armed.

i built an addition to my barn just for my Harley and when i put her to bed each night, i feel
better knowing i have gone the extra mile to secure my baby..... security system, HD cable lock,
and a big freakin' On-Guard chain locked to an eye bolt in the floor.

last summer there was a rash of shed break-ins around my neck of the woods.

our Harleys are valuable.... and to me, mine is priceless.
