spare fob/key is at home...never lost any keys in my life... right front pants pocket is where i keep the fob when riding. Used this during my working years. all metal with spring and never came off my belt loop by accident.

I turn my security system off manually every now and then so it's fresh and have a spare key black duct taped to the side of the battery. You have to take the seat off and you still can't see it unless you know it's there.

That's a good idea.

Mostly I ride or tour solo and the bike is set up for that. Solo seat with a police squad box next to it. The squad box has a flat key that I use black duct tape to hide on the bike. My spare round key is taped in the box.

When my wife rides and I switch to the tour-pac and double seat she carries the extra round key.

When on trips with my buddy we give each other our spare keys so each of us have a set to the bikes.

Yes. Wouldn't want to be a thousand miles from home and lose my bike key!
