If you've never held, felt, and worn a top notch made in the USA leather jacket, then the leather up Pakistani stuff will seem ok. I had a 25 yr old Schott Perfecto, and ordered a Leather Up leather jacket for $hits and giggles more or less. I gave it to a friend as a birthday gift. There is no comparison. The Pakistani buffalo leather looks cheap laying next to a quality leather jacket. I'm not knocking it at all, just giving my opinion. It's cheap for a reason.
I have an armored leather jacket and boots from Leatherup.
The jacket is made from thick, heavy leather and fits very well. However, some of the stitching is starting to come apart after three years. I'll probably just take it somewhere have it repaired. Other than that, great jacket.
The boots are awesome. They are easy on/easy off (but have stayed on my feet through two crashes) and super comfortable - like comfortable enough to walk around in all day if necessary. They are a bit toasty in the summer and not completely waterproof but definitely a great boot for the money.
