I have bought from them:
- leather jacket
- leather shirt
- helmet
- goggles
- boots
- saddle bags
and more junk...but I hadn't ridden in a long time and it was a cheap buy-in to get me going.....
The leather shirt and jacket; good enough quality..
the rest.... well; like my wife said... try before you buy. should have listened.
I'm very happy with the brown leather jacket and the saddlebags and roll bag. If you order a jacket, order at least 1 size larger than you normally wear.
Order 1 item and see if you like it. If you do, order more.
That's what I did and I've placed 5 orders in the last 3 months . . .good stuff for a good price.

I have ordered multiple times from LU and have been very happy with every purchase. Their rain suits in particular are a heck of a deal. I have ordered boots from them as well and they were very good quality.
I have a leather jacket with armour I purchased from leatherup last August. It was $200 less than HD brand products. It was a great purchase and I wear it 3 or 4 times a week, riding.
I have bought a leather jacket for me, one for my wife, chaps for both of us, a couple vests and 3 pairs of boots. All are very heavy leather and well put together. Those that shop labels will talk trash about them. So will those that will only buy US made stuff, which I respect. But let's be honest, there are few, if any leather tanneries in the US (they are an environmental disaster) so the leather in the Schott, Fox Creek etc, stuff undoubtedly came from elsewhere although it admittedly is sewn here.
The Xelement stuff is made in Pakistan. If that's not an issue for you, it's good quality stuff, especially for the very low prices. I've got 35,000 miles on the jacket so far and it is going strong. I would compare it to jackets costing 3 times as much.
