I wear one for pockets and to help reduce "thsirt nipple". It's a piece of utility gear, not a fashion statement.

I got a red polyester one with chrome spikes all over it that I only wear to bed - and only on special ocassions. Is that wrong?
Just kidding, never had one. Kinda half-*** considered getting one a few times but never yet seen one I liked - for me.

I always find that tucking my shirt in works pretty well.
I've got one that I almost never wear. I don't think they "look gay" but they just don't seem to be for me.

I've got one with the HOG patch on the back. I'm the editor of the local chapter, so I had the excuse to get a cool Editor patch too. Gay? Not so much.

I've wore a denim vest since the 70s, got a leather one about 15 years ago. Usually anytime I ride I have one or the other on. Keeps the shirt down and gives me extra pockets. Never gave a rats *** what anyone thought of it, still don't.
