Careful man, the riders from this forum that apparently roll around in slacks, loafers and polo shirts (all I can imagine them wearing because the make fun of anyone that wears anything remotely resembling "biker clothing") are liable to think you're a poser or a wannabe-bad-***. Can't have that!

LOL! It all balances out, I've never owned a necktie or argyle socks.

A good leather vest holds in the body heat. Only if its cold outside otherwise no.

I would never wear a vest. I have a summer and a winter riding jacket.

I've got a vest, but I don't wear it much. In the Texas heat, a mesh jacket is much cooler and more comfortable. The vest just cooks my back and ensures sunburn to my arms.

I agree. A mesh jacket keeps my arms from frying and the rest of me cooler than a vest. I do own a vest, two I think. I just rarely wear them.

You'd be surprised (or maybe not) how many times I've seen suit, tie, brown loafers, & briefcase on a bike. I don't care what the doctor, lawyer, etc. wears, why should they care what I wear. Like I said it all works out.
