I had the Rush 2" baffles on mine for several years. Then the ol' lady decided we needed louder pipes. I had bought them from Fuel Moto so I contacted them about getting new 2.5" baffles and got them. When I tried taking out the old baffles, first one came out with any issues. But, the second one hung up and never could get it out. Contacted FM and they said that's why they quit selling the Rush series slipon's. Ended up having to buy new pipes, Rhineharts..........much better sound, but not too loud.
BTW, this isn't meant to bash FM as they took the new baffles back and refunded my money.

I had that happen before. I just took the mufflers off and knocked the baffles out from the front side out of the rear.

When did FM quit selling Rush stuff, was it just due to poor quality or what?
Purchased Rush Slash Down and 2" Baffles from FuelMoto. Liked it, Had it for 3 years and No problem whatsoever. Moved up to 2.25" and liked it even more since I'm deaf. Personally don't care for radio, music or striking up voice conversation since my better half's also deaf as we converse in Sign Language.

I have the 1.75's was thinking of getting the other baffle till my wife tells me she can hear me coming home from 5 mins before I get home. Any louder and I might have issues. I'm true-duls & no cat, with the true-duls the bike has gotten A LOT louder. lol
I would recommend dropping down to the 1.75" if the 2.25" is too loud. The difference in each baffle size is about 3-4 db and I describe that as one noticeable step. It's not a huge difference. Dropping down to the 1.75" is most likely the reduction in volume you'll be good with.
If a baffle is absolutely stuck that would be covered under warranty. We promote the ability to change baffles sizes so if a baffle can not be removed that would be considered a manufacturing defect and covered. If you have an issue, please contact Rush directly.
