I would recommend dropping down to the 1.75" if the 2.25" is too loud. The difference in each baffle size is about 3-4 db and I describe that as one noticeable step. It's not a huge difference. Dropping down to the 1.75" is most likely the reduction in volume you'll be good with.
If a baffle is absolutely stuck that would be covered under warranty. We promote the ability to change baffles sizes so if a baffle can not be removed that would be considered a manufacturing defect and covered. If you have an issue, please contact Rush directly.

I didn't realize yall were on the forum.
Thanks for the info, I will probably go with the 1.75 baffles then. I will have to remember that about the stuck baffles being covered under warranty just in case. What do yall do if that happens and yall don't sell those particular mufflers anymore? I was told yall don't sell the 14205 mufflers I have anymore.

We still have some stock available but it's a discontinued item. If we were completely out we would replace with the closest item or something of equal value.

Damn, I wish I had known that. But its been 2 years ago so I'm outa luck on this one. Good to know though.
I run Rush on my bike. If you coat the area of the baffle that contacts the casing with anti-seeze they will come right out when it's time to re-pack, or swap to a different size baffle. I can get mine out with a pair of pliers and don't even have to remove the muffler casing from the bike.

I run the 1.75 on my heritage and they have got louder over time, I think its time for a repack or maybe even step down to 1.5.
When I first got them they had the 2" baffles and I set a car alarm off when I rode by the subway restaurant!
