This is why I hate cops. They are nothing but the politicians stooge/alternative tax collector. A cop could use some discretion on what communist policy to enforce.
I scraped every sticker off the outside of my new Shoei RF1200 cause I don't like that crap showing. I'd rather see my own stickers. I guess good thing I live in TX where it doesn't matter.
Perhaps I missed the sarcasm but I guess you often have negative experiences with law enforcement to form an opinion of such low esteem of them?
No kidding.

Cops pull people over all the time because they are bored. It is a fact of life. In the past 15 years I have been pulled over twice. One was for stealing beer and I will have to search your truck right now. Of which he never did search my truck, because back before our current police state a warrant was required to do so. Then I got pulled over for speeding, illegal lane changes and running red lights. Maybe he hoped I had actually done one and would be like schucks, you caught me. The officer who pulled me over for stolen beer was fired a year later because of several complaints like mine. The second guy was non local and made my mind up that Myrtle beach will no longer recieve my tourist dollars.
Last time I talked to a cop was the one who parks at the end of my driveway a month ago to catch speeders on the rural roads. I just moved in to my retirement home away from people. Previous owners were fine with police at the end of the driveway.
I walked out and asked what he is doing, he explained and I asked him to gather his revenue somewhere else. He will get bored and pull someone over for no reason at all and I do not want that kind of joo joo being associated with my house. Now he hides just past a blind hill where it goes abruptly to 35 from 55. Atleast he will have a legit reason with a speed trap to pull people over.
Wow, 2x in 15 years! Your civil rights have been violated! The MAN is really suppressing you. Angry old man.

He's the one who, rather than let a cop do his job and sit in the driveway of a retirement home catching speeders, he has to be a **** disturber and go out and hassle the cop - for DOING HIS JOB. I find it VERY hard to believe that he (and many of you others on here) are completely innocent, 100% of the time.
In my lifetime I've logged nearly 900,000 miles in cars, trucks, bikes, and boats and have NEVER been pulled over unduly. When I am stopped, it's yes sir, no sir, have a nice day sir. Not because I'm a *****, but simply because I broke the law and they're just doing their job.
What happened to being a man and just accepting the consequences for your own actions, rather than immediately blaming LEO's or anyone other than yourselves? Maybe you get **** because you give ****. If your attitudes when getting pulled over are even remotely like they are here on the forum, it's no wonder you get hassled.

I hear the violins playing. I'm already in the club. Polite and law-abiding citizens of the U.S. who thank the police every day. There are millions of us.
Random checks, while inconvenient, have resulted in arrests of people you don't want even driving in your neighborhood, let alone roaming the earth...

There was a time when police did their job without stomping on the rights of everyone. You deserve no freedom if you are willing to give up a little, in the name of safety. Just today a couple miles from my house a 2 year old girl was found walking on the road. A two lane rural highway. Police response time was just over 2 hours. I guess they were too busy serving and protecting the **** outa that little girl pulling people over.
