How did the cop look inside the helmet??? Did he have a search warrant to make you take off your helmet? " I do not consent to any unwarranted searches....."

You're just full of ridiculous statements and assertions with little facts.

There was a real good thread on this specific topic a year or so ago. Created quite an uproar by the LE community in here. Like other threads regarding citizen's exercising civil liberties... it was deleted.

Fact 1. I had a brand new truck with 49 miles on the ODO at the time of pull over. It was in a new color Ford just released. It was the first one sold in the state of MI that color, Autumn Orange. First words the police man said was "a truck matching them description of yours" was seen stealing beer fom the 7-11, a 7-11 I was driving towards, not away from. He stated he will search my truck and I told him no he is not. I told him get the supervisor out here. In the 30 minites it took him to get there I was told I will be arrested, truck impounded, searched. When the supervisor got there he told the officer a case of beer would be easily viewed without a search and told me to go.

The truck matching the description of mine is impossible because I was driving towards the store he said I stole a case of beer from and I had the only truck in the state of MI that color.

So you would have believed this officer and let him search your truck. Good for you subject. I told him no and he did not search and he lost his job. The agency I filed my complaint to notified me a year later he was fired after several similar complaints.

Now how about you prove that wrong.

The second choad was a cherry. He looked nervous and obviously needed practice with his story lines he used to pull people over with. It never got as far as call your supervisor.

So, like I said subject, police get bored and make up reasons to pull people over. It was one of the reasons cop 1 got fired in the offical investigation Kinda confirms to me it is a fact.

As to police. I got several police friends and know my local small town police officers, all three of them. They know me well from my getting several permits to purchase. I also had a conservation officer and sheriff come to my door asking permission to go through my land to investigate if drugs were being grown on property behind mine. They never asked me questions about said drugs or asked me to narc on a neighbor. I told him to just drive back but he did not want to drive over my lawn. It was a good hike back so me and the wife made ice tea and lemonade for them. It was a hot day. They accepted the offer and we talked hunting and the CO gave me his card and told me call him if I see anything funny or need his help on hunting issues, like the people who tresspass every year on my land as reported by the previous owners.

So stfu on your I hate cops BS posts, you too ABSG. I judge everyone on an individual basis. A badge does not command instant respect. When it comes to me it is earned, (respect) not deserved.

He will get bored and pull someone over for no reason at all and I do not want that kind of joo joo being associated with my house. Now he hides just past a blind hill where it goes abruptly to 35 from 55. Atleast he will have a legit reason with a speed trap to pull people over.

I thought the last time you talked to an officer was when you moved in to your retirement home a month ago and you ran him off your property?

So the pot growing season is in full swing in MN? Little early for that isn't it? I wasn't aware it was hot in MN yet, it's not even hot in TX yet but you were making iced tea and lemonade for the police?

Your stories aren't jiving, the timelines don't fit.

I didn't have a problem with him looking in my helmet. I took it off, clipped the strap and hung it on the handlebar, before getting off of the bike. I had nothing to hide and didn't give it a thought. He ask if he could see it and I handed it to him. Again, I had nothing to hide.

Wow! Someone here can read.

You are right. Last time I talked to a po po was the one at the end of my driveway showing little respect to the property owner. The use of my land as a stake out without asking first will result in me showing the same respect given to me, very little. Same I would treat a non sworn civilian on my land not invited. They will be asked to leave.
