I hate Iterstates!
I hate interstates! This weekend in Okla. Traveling after dark about 75 mph (Yup I know it's too fast) Everyone in our group of about 8 bikes missed the big pothole but me. Scarred the &*^% out of me. Next time I don't care if the group runs off and leaves me, I will not over run my headlights.
BTW If we have to pay tolls on the turnpike, can't they fix the damn potholes?

I would ask the turnpike authority why do they allow such hazzards when they charge you to use them. I would ask about the insurance and the bent rim and damaged tire I suffered after paying to ride their road. Then what laundry should I take my pants and underewear to after I **** myself from their neglect. DoI need a LAYWER????

I'm prone to ride sunrise to sunset, especially when it involves high speeds - I just feel a little safer doing interstate speeds during daylight hours.
As was mentioned previously, next time it could be a muffler, shredded tire, orlarge animal- whatever you do, don't outrun your headlights.

If everyone in your road group had Chatterboxes attached totheir helmets,youALLwould have known about the pothole!
I've been using Chatterboxes with my sportbikefriends since 2003. I have a 3/4 helmet and have it installed. I hope I can get some of my HOG friends interested!

Running on the interstates I have always worried about what lies ahead. I tend to drive alot because of my job and the interstate can be a debris field of blown tires, rusted car parts, trash, and yes potholes.
In PA, they fix the roads every year so we tend to spend the majority of our time in one lane
